The Muslim Community of Edmonton mosque (MCE) is pleased to announce the start of the Sunday School Program for children aged 4.5 years and older. The application forms are avialable online and in the main lobby of the MCE.

Goals:

• To provide our children with “Islamic social environment” for useful learning and playing
• To teach the students Quran, Hadith, Muslim manners and etiquettes, history and basic Arabic to facilitate Quran recitation as well as making crafts and participating in filed trips.

Arabic Culture School :

r Academic year 1432-1433 (2011-2012) of the school:   - September 11, 2011–June 17, 2012 on Sundays: from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.

 Application requirement:

• The school accepts children older than 4.5 years. The child should have or exceed the indicated age limit by the first day of classes.

·         Please provide us with the parents/guardian email address -A minimum of one email is required.

 

·         Please fill all the information in the application form and bring it with the fees payment on the registration days. Parents can pay the fees in cash, or by post dated cheques  payable to Muslim Community of Edmonton.

• School Fee is only $400/ first child, $390/second child and $380/each additional if applicable for the whole year.  The books and field trip are included. No refund after the starting day of the school.

 

Important notes:

·         Please note that this is not a day care program. Parents, therefore, are encouraged to interact with their kids and the school to maximize the benefits of the school for all.

·         Each child is required to bring his/her daily lunch.

·         Children and their parents are reminded to adhere to Islamic principles and teachings in their conduct and appearance in and outside the mosque.
